1. PRICE SETTING IN KWHOTEL
There are three rate types available in KWHotel:
- per room
- per person
- Rate plan
Each of them allows you to settle guests in a different manner.
PRICES PER ROOM – rate does not depend on the number of people in the room. Price is set per night e.g.
Rate per room is set to 50 EUR
1 person will pay 50 EUR per night 2 persons will pay 50 EUR per night
PRICES PER PERSON – rate depends on the number of people in the room. Price is set per night.
Rare per person allows you a more flexible price management as it also divides price into minimal room rate, adult price and 3 age groups (specified in Tools –> Configuration –> Other)
Minimal room rate: minimal price that must be paid for the room. Rate per adult: price each adult has to pay per night
Child 1,2,3: price each age group has to pay per night e.g.
Minimal room rate is 50 EUR Price per adult is 20 EUR
One person will pay 50 EUR + 20 EUR = 70 EUR
Two persons will pay 50 EUR + 20 EUR + 20 EUR = 90 EUR
As you can see, this solution also allows you to rent rooms to a smaller number of people, for higher price.
RATE PLAN – the most advanced rate management option. Makes it possible to assign different rates, depending on the time, season or number of persons.
